    Great for mulching

I use these blades year long. They do a great job mulching grass, unless it is super tall then a second pass is required. In the fall the gator blades turn leaves into dust. I let the grass get tall in the fall to add some nitrogen to break down the leaves. By the spring it is all composted on the lawn not raking required. I sharpen every 50 hours with about 5 sharpening before replacement. Used with Cub Cadet RZT SX46 with a fabricated deck.

Which side up on the blade

Blade should be stamped top or bottom. No instructions included. Started with it backwards and flipped it and re installed. Still doesn't cut well. I spend a lot of time backing it up for grass that it didn't cut. Have to overlap cutting 4" or it doesn't cut all the way out :- (
