Racism and Inequality Statement

The events that have been unfolding in the U.S. over the past few weeks, and the larger issues of racial inequality that they have shed light on, are heartbreaking. The systemic racism faced by black, indigenous and people of color must be addressed and changed. Blount must do our part in actively working to elevate underrepresented voices, and proactively take steps to support and lift up communities of color.

Blount stands strongly against racism and inequality, and understands we must listen, learn and engage with each other to foster change within our communities. These challenges will not be resolved in a day, or even years, but Blount knows that we must proactively take steps to combat these inequalities in order to make a meaningful contribution to enduring progress.
